Walking Group

Do you enjoy walks in the country? Has getting out for walks become more difficult since losing your sight? If so, why not join our walking group?

Bradbury Walkers meet twice monthly and walks may vary in duration but tend to be around the 5 mile mark.

This service is provided on a one to one basis by a sighted volunteer accompanying a visually impaired person. Bradbury Fields provides the transport in their mini buses for these days out.

Over the years the walking group has also enjoyed many weekends away in Snowdonia and the Lake District.

This is a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the pleasures of the countryside as well as a healthy activity and we mustn’t forget it is also an opportunity for guide dogs to run off their excess energy and enjoy the pleasures of the countryside.
